Spring 2023 Newsletter
Dear Neighbors,
I hope you are well and enjoying some warmth somewhere. As the weather changes from day to day, please take care of yourself and your neighbors – choose healthy heating options, stay hydrated, mask if you are worried about catching something (or sharing a bug no one else wants), and check in on your aging neighbors to be sure they have what they need.
As I write this we are especially concerned for the seniors in our community who are isolated and are more challenged in cold weather. We are also concerned for those, seniors and families alike, who will be losing supplemental nutrition benefits this month. It will be a decrease of more than 50% for most and the cost of food has increased for us all. If you have any wiggle-room in your budget, please consider donating in some way to a food pantry near you. We are happy to help you find one!
