Emma Pennea works in pediatric and reproductive environmental public health at the Mid-Atlantic Center for Children’s Health and the Environment (MACCHE) at the M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing of Villanova University. She has been with MACCHE since 2015 and oversees consultations, referrals, education, and outreach. Her current projects focus on PFAS, lead, environmental (in)justice, air quality, chemical safety, and the health effects of the climate crisis. She received a Bachelor of Arts from New York University, a Master of Science in Global Health from Georgetown University, and is currently a DrPH student. Emma lives with her family in Germantown.
